earth day tag

manila tag stamped with 'stampendous' old world map

 using 'archival ink' jet black.

tag coloured using 'distress stains' 

old paper and vintage photo, and edges distressed.

above stamp, stamped onto clearly for art - 

modelling film using 'stazon' jet black.

map painted on the reverse of the film, using

'distress paints' weathered wood, broken china, salty ocean,

 peeled paint, mowed lawn, frayed burlap and vintage photo.

film heated and modelled into a dome shape, 

then adhered to tag using 3d glue.

hour glass wrapped with wire, wire inserted 

through tag and secured on reverse.

'idea-ology' mini gears, sprocket gears and 

game spinners fixed to tag with paper fasteners.  

paper fasteners added for decoration and

gold coloured corner added to bottom left.

quote printed onto card, cut out and coloured with 

'distress ink' old paper and vintage photo,

then fixed in place using shaker tape.

crinkle ribbon coloured with 'distress stain' 

mustard seed tied through top of tag.

'idea-ology' wire pin with muse token, 

philosophy tag and pearl pinned through ribbon.
