inspiration emporium blog challenge - marvelous masks and spectacular stencils



butterfly tag

adhesive was spritzed through 'the crafter's workshop' mini 
burst stencil and heat embossed using white embossing powder.
tag was then coloured using 'dylusions' dirty martini, 
vibrant turquoise, london blue and crushed grape.
tag edges distressed and coloured using 'distress ink' 
vintage photo.

'alterations' mini butterflies cut from grungeboard and 
painted with 'distress crackle' rock candy.
butterflies coloured using dylusions as above, 
embellished with gems and glued in place with 3d glue.

flourishes from 'decorative strip' festive greenery, 
cut from silver 'mirri' board and glued in place.

crinkle ribbon coloured with dylusions as above, 
tied through top of tag.

  1. Lisa what a gorgeous tag! That's an ingenious technique using the stencil, along with using Dylusions with the distress crackle, it's just brilliant!
