butterfly tag

adhesive was spritzed through 'the crafter's workshop' mini 

burst stencil and heat embossed using white embossing powder.

tag was then coloured using 'dylusions' dirty martini, 

vibrant turquoise, london blue and crushed grape.

tag edges distressed and coloured using 'distress ink' 

vintage photo.

'alterations' mini butterflies cut from grungeboard and 

painted with 'distress crackle' rock candy.

embellished with gems and glued in place with 3d glue.

flourishes from 'decorative strip' festive greenery, 

cut from silver 'mirri' board and glued in place.

crinkle ribbon coloured with dylusions as above, 

tied through top of tag.

i heart colour tag

'dylusions' background love flowers stamped 

onto sticky back canvas using multi medium (as a resist).

after drying the multi medium, canvas spritzed using 

'dylusions' squeezed orange, bubblegum pink and funky fuchsia.

when dry, canvas adhered to tag, trimmed and edges distressed.

'idea-ology' tissue tape and washi tape adhered to tag.

vintage sheet music cut into an oval, coloured using 

'distress ink' picked raspberry and ripe persimmon, 

edges distressed and then glued to tag.

crinkle ribbon coloured with above dylusions,

fixed to tag using 'inkssentials' wondertape.

garden twine fixed to tag using mini staples.

bow made using crinkle ribbon and twine, 

and glued in place.

large heart made by pouring black utee onto 

'tim holtz' seasonal reflections music stamp, 

and using a cookie cutter.

'idea-ology' alphaparts and hearts 

(two smaller hearts are brads from my stash), 

painted using 'distress paint' picked raspberry and 

spiced marmalade mixed with the dylusions above,

then glued to tag.

 coloured using 'copics', cut out and glued to page.

verdigris patina effect tag

tag coloured using 'distress paints' peeled paint, broken china,

 salty ocean, antiqued bronze and tarnished brass.

edges distressed and coloured with 'distress ink' walnut stain.

dragon fly from 'tim holtz' classics #1 stamped onto tag and onto

 clearly for art - modelling film using 'stazon' jet black.

wings cut out from film, heated to shape and stapled in place.

'idea-ology' tissue tape and washi tape added to tag.

'idea-ology' mini gears, paper fasteners, corner, 

pen nib, word band and alpha parts '4', 

painted using the distress paints as above.

gears fixed in place with fasteners, corner added to bottom left,

 pen nib glued on using 3d glue, word band fixed using garden

 twine and mini staples, and '4' adhered with shaker tape.

Manila tag stamped with 'tim holtz' air travel stamp set, 

map and compass, using 'archival ink' jet black.

coloured with 'distress ink' tumbled glass, broken china

 and vintage photo, and edges distressed.

 and fixed to bottom of tag with paper fasteners.

game spinner added to centre of compass with paper fastener.

which had been adhered to grungepaper.

earth day tag

manila tag stamped with 'stampendous' old world map

 using 'archival ink' jet black.

tag coloured using 'distress stains' 

old paper and vintage photo, and edges distressed.

above stamp, stamped onto clearly for art - 

modelling film using 'stazon' jet black.

map painted on the reverse of the film, using

'distress paints' weathered wood, broken china, salty ocean,

 peeled paint, mowed lawn, frayed burlap and vintage photo.

film heated and modelled into a dome shape, 

then adhered to tag using 3d glue.

hour glass wrapped with wire, wire inserted 

through tag and secured on reverse.

'idea-ology' mini gears, sprocket gears and 

game spinners fixed to tag with paper fasteners.

gold coloured corner added to bottom left.

page primed with absorbent ground
(but it still didn't hold the ink well enough, 
so i used 'neenah' card and glued it on)

using card as above, 'distress ink' tumbled glass,
 dusty concord and vintage photo blended using 
blending tool, then 'tim holtz' reflections - script 
stamped using vintage photo.

using 'tim holtz' reindeer flight stamp set,
trees stamped with 'distress ink' weathered wood,
flourishes stamped with 'distress ink' black soot 
with some ink removed to give a faded effect.
reindeer stamped using 'stazon' jet black, and 
snowflakes stamped using 'versamark' 
and embossed in white.

page coloured with blending tool as above,
reindeer on card glued in place.
sticky glitter letters (from stash) 
added to top of page and to highlight word.
