february tag journal
the tag was created in a similar manner as described in
except for the stamping, for which i used
simon says stamp - all about love.
the background was prepared using gesso, then painted using
distress paint - festive berries and pumice stone.
tim holtz stencils - stripes and doily were used with
festive berries and black soot respectively.
the following washi tape was added
freckled fawn - chalkboard arrow
doodlebug - hugs and kisses
tim holtz - symphony and elements
hearts cut using lawn fawn - hearts die from dictionary paper
and black card. after adhering black pen was used to outline
the dictionary hearts and chalk was used on the black.
a piece of manila card prepared in the same way as the
tag background was adhered, along with a distressed photo.
idea-ology - filmstrip ribbon, linen ribbon and leftover
industrious sticker were added. word band and locket key were
fixed using paper fasteners and numerals adhered using foam tape.
buttons from stash were glued in place using glossy accents
and 'february' was printed using dymo.
