pages primed with gesso.
knight traced from internet:

and cut out.
mask cut from 'frisket' to retain white area behind knight.
with mask in place, square eraser used to stamp checks,
using 'stazon' jet black.
pages then aged using 'distress ink' vintage photo.
mask removed and knight adhered in place.
washi tape added to highlight word.
'knight' added using 'idea-ology' custom fasteners,
with the letters cut from chitchat stickers, using a hole punch.
